Sharon MacDonell is a grassroots Democratic leader focusing on Michigan's 56th District. After a transformative first term in Lansing, Sharon, along with her House Democratic colleagues, have successfully ushered in a new energy in Michigan. Focusing on the needs of the people in Michigan, Sharon has enacted laws to protected women's reproductive rights, repealed the retirement tax for seniors, enacted common sense gun legislation, and made record investments in public schools. Sharon is dedicated to serving the needs and ideals of her constituents in Troy, Clawson, and parts of Birmingham, Bloomfield Township, and Royal Oak, as well as the great state of Michigan.
